User details
A user's personal details can be altered by themselves by clicking the user account icon in the top-right corner, and choosing User Details from the menu.
An administrator can alter the details of any user under the customer space or agency space to which they have admin access.
Details
Name, job title and DDI (direct phone number) are required fields. These fields are included when making a support request to enable our team to follow-up with you if needed.
Mobile number is also included in a support request, and if entered will be used to pre-fill the test number for SMS Test Sends to make it easier to send yourself test messages!
Internationalisation
Setting the correct timezone is critical to enable accurate scheduling for emails, SMS and any recurring imports or reports. Scheduling is done against the user's configured timezone. For example, if a user in Paris schedules a campaign to start at 2pm, the same time will appear as 1pm to a user in London, as the French timezone is one hour ahead of the UK.
When you log in, Maxemail warns you if the timezone set for your user account doesn't match your own computer. You should change the timezone to match your working timezone to avoid any scheduling mistakes.
Every Time Zone is a great way of visualising different times of day across timezones.
You can also set the Locale. This changes the way that you view dates and numbers within the interface (eg. day-month or month-day, slash or hyphen separators, thousand separators, etc.) . It does not change the way that dates and numbers are merged into message content - formatting of dynamic content is controlled by the options for the respective Content Tokens.
