Microsoft Dynamics

Connecting your Microsoft Dynamics account to your Maxemail account allows you to:

  • Import your Dynamics lists into Maxemail
  • Update the Bulk Email preference field when a Recipient globally unsubscribes from a Maxemail email

Connecting Your Dynamics Account

From the top system toolbar select:

Features > Connected Accounts

This will open the connected accounts tab and list possible integrations.

Click on the Connect button on the Microsoft Dynamics row.

This will take you through the steps to fill in your Microsoft Dynamics instance URL and enter your account username / password if required.

Once connected the button will change to show a Disconnect button and the row will show the details of which Dynamics instance is connected.

Import Dynamics Lists

  1. Select an existing or create a new recipient list
  2. For an existing list select the import option from the actions toolbar (for new lists the import tab will open automatically)
  3. Click Select Source from the toolbar
  4. If your Dynamics account is connected correctly then a new Microsoft Dynamics source will be available in the blind
  5. Selecting this will show a drop-down where your lists will be shown.
  6. Selecting one and clicking Fetch Marketing List will download the list ready for Profile Field Mapping and import.

Updating Subscription Status in Microsoft Dynamics Account

With the integration set up Maxemail will pass back subscription information whenever a recipient Globally Unsubscribes from an email sent by Maxemail.

This information will automatically update the Bulk Email field under the Contact Preferences for any Contact or Lead whos email address matches that performing the unsubscribe.
