Setting links
n addition to the basic text properties you can also highlight any part of the text and select the link icon in order to set what happens when the recipient clicks that selected text.
Select the link icon in the text toolbar.
Link Types
URL – Allows you to enter any web address
Online Version – Make the selected text a link to the online version of your email
Local Unsubscribe – Make the selected text a local unsubscribe link
Global Unsubscribe – Make the selected text a global unsubscribe link
Form – Link to a Maxemail form from your account
Email Address – Enter a link to create a new email with address and subject line
Facebook Share – Enter any URL and maxemail will automatically create a Facebook share link
Twitter Share – Enter any URL and maxemail will automatically create a Twitter share link
Phone Number – Enter a phone number to create a press-to-dial link for mobile devices
Link Styles
If you would like the style of a link to be something different to that set in the Base Email Styles then you can style them in the same way as you would style any regular text, by highlighting the text and changing it's colour, font, size etc from the toolbar.
A word on content styling
Be aware that any styling you apply directly to text in your design will override any other base styles or individual component level styling.
