Browser support

The Maxemail user interface is built to take advantage of features available in modern web browsers.

Access is restricted to only allow supported browsers. This ensures full compatibility with the application and minimises the risk of security issues in outdated browsers.

Full support is provided for the following browsers:

Each time a new version is released, we begin supporting that version and stop supporting the previous oldest version. All the supported browsers automatically update individually or as part of free operating system updates.

Check your browser

You can check if your browser is up-to-date by using National Cyber Security Centre's Check your web browser tool.

Although Maxemail does not provide a dedicated mobile interface, access is allowed to recent mobile browser versions on a best-effort basis.

These restrictions only apply to the user interface accessed by Maxemail users. It does not restrict the browsers allowed for message recipients, for example for click-throughs, the email's online version, or forms
