SMS Data

The SMS data tab allows you to select:

• Include Lists
• Suppression Lists
• Segments

Include Lists

Click Select Lists to add any recipient lists that you wish to send to.

Suppression Lists

By default the Global SMS Stop and Global Unsubscribe Lists will be attached to every SMS campaign. This is to remove recipients who have requested to not receive either specifically SMS or ALL communications from your company.

In addition to this you may add your own suppression lists by clicking Select Lists and checking them from the opened blind.

Note

If you have selected to send the message as a Service Message at the Setup stage then you can deselect the Global Suppression lists at this stage. This is not advised unless you are confident that the message type is allowed without specific marketing permissions from the recipient.

Segments

You can further refine your final list count using Maxemail Segments to make sure only those recipients meeting a certain criteria will be included in the send. e.g. have received a particular email campaign but not opened.

List Total

SMS number required

Only recipients with a valid SMS number will be calculated in the total send.

With all the relevant lists and segments added you can see a final list total by clicking the Calculate button in the bottom right of the tab.
